Otra Pizzeria is where ritual meets irreverence, a pizza house built around the poetry of making, the mess of flour-dusted hands, and the beauty of repetition.
The space is graphic, tactile, and unapologetically bold. We anchored the concept in a classic red, black, and bone palette, then layered it with texture and story: sculptural plaster walls that feel hand-worked, checkerboard tile moments that nod to old-world trattorias, and warm burled woods that soften the geometry.
The open kitchen is the main character. The entry render frames the line like a stage, red lacquered millwork, stainless hoods, and hanging letter blocks spelling OTRA hovering above the action like a playful marquee. The menu becomes art in itself through the custom letter lightbox, while ambient glass block washes the dining room in a soft, nostalgic glow.
Seating was curated as carefully as the finishes. Bentwood café chairs reference European sidewalk culture, grounding the room in tradition while the bold red banquettes and sculptural service counter push the space forward. Custom artwork, flour-covered hands, irreverent classical busts, and gritty food imagery — layers in humor and humanity.
Otra doesn’t chase perfection. It celebrates process.
