Matilda’s is a European-inspired neighborhood bungalow where mornings start with coffee and evenings end with wine. A historic Phoenix home reimagined as an all-day café, soft but not precious, layered but unfussy.
We leaned into a French brasserie sensibility filtered through the desert, pairing warm woods, mixed metals, vintage silhouettes, and intimate lighting with playful moments that feel approachable rather than precious. The space was designed to feel collected over time — the kind of place that belongs to the block, not just the brand.
It’s hospitality that feels like home, but elevated, rooms you want to linger in whether you’re grabbing a pastry at 9am or sharing a bottle at golden hour.
